AGM 2018

Below is a list of the proposed schedule of Saturday cycling for the 2018. This list is not written on stone and is subject to change.
Also discussed at the meeting was the situation where a  back marker gets tailed off and is isolated. This should not happen. It was decided that there should be a greater awareness among all Leeroadies and such cyclists should be accompanied and encouraged.
It was also decided that for the Saturday cycles we experiment with the following.
We are commencing an experiment in that the faster/racing cyclists are going to commence their trip 10 minutes after the leisurely cyclists in order that everybody gets to the coffee stop more or less together which facilitates sociability and comradeship.
All the Sunday cycles will be decided on a weekly basis and will be shorter and easier than the Saturday cycles.
It was decided that there would be a feasibility study in establishing if there would be interest in a 5/7 Day cycling tour of the Alps embracing some of the famous iconic climbs of the Tour De France in the latter end of the year. Liam Kearns is the person to contact if you wish to express an interest 0879348473 or email kearns.liam@gmail.com
