Weekend activities Report

Sat 24th June. Rathcormack/Knockaboy circuit 105KM

This morning 20 Leeroadies turned up for the Vee/Knockaboy challenge. Despite warning everybody to stay together and mind the directional challenged amongst us we still succeeded in loosing 3 of our party. First to bite the dust was ( yes you guessed it ) Fiona who decided to cycle on towards Clonmel before she realised her error. Then after Cappaquinn we lost Sheila and Linda who decided that they would like to cycle back via Fermoy. The good news is all got home safe and sound

Poor Tracey had to be rescued in Cappaquinn as she broke her back derailer on the Knockaboy assent. She was obviously putting to much wattage on the drive train.

Everybody enjoyed his or her “Blaahs” and coffee in Cappaquinn.

Sunday 25th June. Rylane circuit 65KM

This morning we had 16 runners and riders. Weather was lovely and our coffee stop in Griffins was as usual very enjoyable and sociable.
